Plagiarism Policy

According to the KBBI (Great Dictionary of the Indonesian Language), plagiarism involves taking another person's writing (opinions, etc.) and presenting it as one's own—for instance, publishing another person's work under one's own name.

Therefore, manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Green AI must be original and free from plagiarism, with a text similarity level of less than 30%.

If plagiarism is detected, the Journal of Green AI editorial team reserves the right to take action based on the following provisions:

  1. If a substantial portion of the article's text is plagiarized without citing the source, the article will be rejected, and the submitting author will be blacklisted, meaning they will no longer be permitted to submit articles to the Journal of Green AI.
  2. If only parts of sentences are plagiarized without citing the source, the author will be issued a warning regarding proper citation.
  3. If the plagiarism (similarity) level exceeds 30%, the author will be required to revise the text—specifically by improving paraphrasing—to ensure the maximum similarity level falls below 30%.

If, at a later date, a similar or identical article is discovered in another journal, the Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to revoke the article's publication status, and the author will be blacklisted; therefore, authors must not submit the same article to different journals.

Other violations will be addressed by the Journal of Green AI editors, and authors may face sanctions in accordance with the journal's editorial policy.
